Sessions

We believe childhood should not be rushed. Our sessions are thoughtfully structured to give children time to settle, explore, build independence and grow in confidence. Within a secure and nurturing routine, they are free to follow their interests, develop resilience and strengthen their communication in ways that feel natural to them.

We’re open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm during term time only (following Surrey term dates).

​

• Funded hours: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

• Optional paid sessions:

  • Early start: 8:00 am – 9:00 am (£11/hour)

  • Late finish: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm (£11/hour)

  • Full-day paid sessions (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) are available for children without funding

Please note: We are closed on bank holidays and when the hall is used as a polling station.

​

Each session is carefully planned to balance child led exploration with meaningful adult guidance, always building on children’s strengths.

Deposit

​

   For children booking additional privately paid sessions, or for children who are not entitled to any funded hours, a refundable deposit of £150 is required to secure the place. 

​

Funding and Fees

We proudly accept:

• 15 hour funded places

• 30 hour funded places

• Private fee paying places are charged at £11 per hour

​

Funded hours are offered in line with government funding guidelines.

​

Please note that Currents Preschool does not provide meals. Children should bring a healthy packed lunch and a labelled water bottle each day.
