Where Curiosity
Meets the Currents
-Opening September 2026

The heart of Currents

The name Currents comes from the idea that every child moves at their own pace, in their own direction, just like a fish swimming in the water. You know that saying about the fish? "Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Maybe Einstein said it, maybe he did not, but what is for certain is that the words ring true. Every child is on their own current, and our job is to support them in swimming confidently along their own path.

This preschool was built on a simple belief. Children are not behind. They are becoming.

I have never believed in measuring children against one another. I believe in noticing their strengths, nurturing their confidence, and giving them the tools to thrive. When a child feels secure, capable, and understood, everything else begins to follow.

We are ambitious for children. But ambition does not mean pressure. It means believing in them deeply and walking alongside them as they grow.

Our Philosophy: The Flow of Learning

At Currents, we believe learning flows naturally when children feel safe, seen, and supported. Every child moves at their own pace, exploring the world in their unique way, just like a fish swimming in its own current.

We celebrate strengths, nurture curiosity and guide children to understand their emotions, build resilience  and communicate confidently. Through play, exploration, and everyday moments, we trust the process of learning, knowing that when children are encouraged to follow their own path, their confidence, creativity and love of learning flourish.
